July 18, 2016 by Jennifer Moore 6 Comments

With Pokemon Go craze in full effect, I decided to make an accessory to reflect on this current trend.

Introducing the Pokeball Purse – made with MiKri World Glitter Mirror Canvas Vinyl and constructed from a circle template using an 11” IKEA trash can.

Inspired by Pokemon Go – http://www.pokemon.com/us/

I just found your website. My daughter would be in love with that purse. Do you have any plans to make the pattern available for sale? Thanks.

Hi – at this time there are no plans to make a tutorial/pattern – it wasn’t the easiest thing to make and don’t want to create instructions for an item if I feel it would be frustrating for someone to try and sew. However – if you have some bag making skills, you could definitely replicate it on your own. Most of the techniques I learned from making Swoon Patterns – https://swoonpatterns.com/. If it helps – I also posted some tips (and dimensions, etc) in this Sewing Bags & Accessories Facebook group on it as well. https://www.facebook.com/groups/sewingbags/1816386631914469/?notif_t=like&notif_id=1469246148570430

OMG I love your Pokemon purse! The aqua looks really good as a lining against the red glitter.
I just found your site, and it’s awesome!
