How To Protect & Treat Fabric with Scotchgard

July 9, 2016 by Jennifer Moore Leave a Comment

It’s super frustrating when you make a sewing or quilting project, only to discover marks or stains on your fabric at the end! Learn how to protect and treat your light colored fabric BEFORE you sew with it, using Scotchgard.

This trick has worked well for me, and I used it on the white background fabric on my Scrappy Hunter’s Star quilt – no mystery stains!

Be sure to test out the Scotchgard on a small area of the fabric, just to make sure it doesn’t negatively react or discolor it.
