Continuing the Holiday Sew-Along with a tiny scrappy boxy pouch tutorial.

This is a good sewing project for using up your fabric stash, as the biggest pieces you need are 5 x 7 inches.

You do not have to buy a holiday sewing kit in order to participate in the sew-along. Video tutorials will include fabric measurements so you can cut up and use what you already have in your own stash. These will be scrappy projects, beginner friendly, and relatively quick to make.

FREE PATTERN DOWNLOAD

Fabric requirements / dimensions:
*Main Fabric (Cut 2 from template) – 5 x 7 inches
(Interfaced with Pellon Shapeflex SF101)
*Lining Fabric (Cut 2 from template) – 5 x 7 inches
*Side Tab Fabric 2.5 x 3 inches (optionally you could use a 2.5 inch square for a shorter tab)
*Zipper at least 5 inches long
Finished size approx. 4 x 2.5 x 2 inches

Recommend using a woven (non-stretchy) fabric – preferably a quilting cotton, lighter weight canvas for the outer layer, or cotton broadcloth.
