TESTING OUT STAIN REMOVERS FOR CLOTHES + FABRIC | Review & Demo

September 7, 2017 by Jennifer Moore Leave a Comment

It’s the worst when you’re sewing on that special fabric, or wanting to wear a special dress for a night out – only to discover the dreaded stain!!!

In this edition, I test out two stain removal products and see how they perform.

Dritz Clothing Care MAGIC WAND Stain Remover Stick, 2.5-Ounce
http://amzn.to/2iTjusS
Magic wand stain remover stick is an easy to use laundry stick
Removes stubborn stains in seconds
The concentrated formula will remove ballpoint ink, grease, chocolate, blood, wine, grass stains and more
Non-toxic biodegradable and safe for all washable fabrics
(MACHINE WASHABLE FABRICS ONLY!!!)

JANIE STICK SPOT CLEANER
http://amzn.to/2wwB9vi
For oil- and grease-based stains on all fabrics, nothing works better than the Janie Stick
Made of a combination of clays that absorb the spot which is then brushed away
All-natural, solvent-free stick – built-in brush included
No water needed – stains can be treated while wearing clothing
(SAFE FOR DRY CLEAN ONLY FABRIC + GARMENTS)

Note: I was most impressed with the Janie Stick Spot Cleaner out of the two. After filming this video, I accidentally got pizza grease on a T-shirt. Treated it with the Janie Stick first and brushed in the powder, then I laundered it in the washing machine. When it came out, there were ZERO signs of the stains – they had 100% been removed.

That’s where I post fabric, sewing patterns, and other goodies. That will also be the place where I may occasionally try to sell sewn items and other miscellaneous things as part of that social experiment I was talking about toward the end of a previous live show.
