I stumbled across your channel and have been watching your videos. I love your enthusiasm. I have subscribed and would love to see a show on threads, why some threads are better, use of, use with, etc. I have been sewing for 60+ years and mainly use Coats and Clark because it is the most readily available in my area (Wally world) I don’t live near a large city so most of my buying is online. Thank god for the internet!! Keep up the good work. Happy new viewer
PS please try to limit your use of “like”!!! I’m not trying to hurt your feelings as in most things we aren’t even aware we are doing it and I suggest Margaritas for the party!!!!!

Thanks Margaret! I wish I could stop saying certain words, but who are we kidding? Might have to just resort to making fun of myself…

Ellen,I have a similar story about sewing learned as a young girl with visions of myself as a style maven, then gave up sewing when it was more expensive than buying off a rack, then relegated my sewing to pillows and curtains. But I never thought of it so elegantly: “What I didn’t know at 10 is that I wasn’t simply making clothes; I was inventing myself. It”s so true!
