Coordinating Fabric for Sewing & Quilting Projects

Ever wonder how to pick out just the right fabrics for sewing and quilting projects? When you’re just starting, it can be intimidating. Let’s talk about coordinating fabric prints and solids.

If you’re not yet confident with this ability, you can always buy complete designer collections in convenient sizes such as charm packs (5″ squares), jelly rolls (2.5″ strips), fat quarters (1/4 of a yard), layer cakes (10″ squares), or mini charm packs (2.5″ squares).

Another route is to go with curated bundles from a variety of local quilt shops or online fabric stores. Here are a few of my favorites:
