March 5, 2020 by Jennifer Moore Leave a Comment

Are you new to sewing, or just need a refresher on which sewing machine foot does what?

Breaking down the 10 basic presser feet that come with the Brother CS7000i sewing machine, a model I’d recommend for budget-conscious beginners who are looking to sew clothes, try quilting, and do simple home projects.

Demonstrating how to use each foot, what settings I use, tension, and sewing tips.

As we start the new year 2020, I’m doing a video series on learning how to sew. This will be aimed at real beginners, someone interested in sewing but having no experience.

We’ll be using an entry level Brother CS7000i sewing machine going over the different parts / functions. If you’ve never used a sewing machine before, I want this to be a resource and guide.

70 UNIQUE BUILT IN STITCHES: The Brother CS7000i comes with 70 built in sewing stitches including utility, quilting, decorative and heirloom stitches plus 7 auto size buttonholes.Maximum Sewing Speed (Stitches Per Minute):850

AUTOMATIC NEEDLE THREADER AND DROP IN TOP BOBBIN: This sewing and quilting combo machine includes an automatic needle threader that perfectly pushes thread through the needle and a convenient, jam resistant drop in top bobbin

INCLUDED ACCESSORIES: The CS7000i includes a protective hard case, wide table, 10 sewing feet, and instruction manual

LCD SCREEN: The backlit LCD display allows you to easily make and view your stitch selections

Thank you and stay tuned for more! Let me know in the comments what type of videos you’d like to see in this series.
