Okay, okay I know we’re all looking for alternatives now that Fabric.com is gone.
It’s official – parent corporation Amazon has shuttered fabric.com!
It’s a question I often ask myself: How big should my own fabric stash be? Should you only keep on hand enough fabric for current projects or amass a collection the size of a retail store?
Spoonflower is an online site offering “custom printed fabric and more,” but I must confess – I have never ordered any fabric from this company.
When I need inexpensive, cheap fabric to use for wearable muslins (or toile as the UK folks say it), I go shopping… Big box stores like Target and Walmart are great for finding bed sheets in the clearance sections to use for dressmaking and garment experimentation.
